DANIEL HEE SUNG YANG
Daniel, an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), is a board certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains, bringing over a decade of experience in healthcare chaplaincy. His most recent role was serving as the Coordinator of Spiritual Care & Chaplaincy at NYP Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. His work has focused on perinatal care, pediatric oncology, and medical ethics.
He attended the University of Chicago where he majored in political science and African/African American Studies before completing his graduate studies at Princeton Theological Seminary.
Currently, Daniel serves as adjunct faculty at the Jewish Theological Seminary, where he teaches the foundations of spiritual care and counseling. He also sits on the board of Broadway Community, Inc., an organization committed to providing social support for people journeying with homelessness.
Daniel lives with his spouse Jacqueline, their human baby Noelle, and their fur baby Butter, a bulldog who makes sure his presence is known. Outside of his professional life, Daniel's passions include playing basketball, watching Seinfeld on repeat, and reading.
